Pulses travel down the current toward the receiver. Tap, click, or press Space to switch the filter between Tide and Ember before each pulse arrives.

- P or Escape: pause and resume the current.
- Read the color: a teal diamond needs Tide; a gold diamond needs Ember.
- Second chance: when the shield is empty, one recovery clears the route and returns two charges.
