Axis Lantern
Axis Lantern game details
How to play Axis Lantern
Axis Lantern is a maze about reading space and planning a route. The blue explorer begins each course with one or more unlit yellow lanterns. Use arrow keys, WASD, or the four touch controls to walk one square at a time. Dark walls stop movement, while clear corridors show exactly where you can travel. There is no jump, hidden timer, or surprise command: choose the next landmark before moving.
- Arrow keys or WASD: move the explorer up, down, left, and right.
- Direction controls: provide the same four moves on a touch screen.
- R: restarts only the current route when you want another attempt.
- P or Escape: pauses and resumes the route without losing position.
Lanterns before the exit
The green exit frame completes a route only after every lantern is lit. Reaching it early gives a clear message and leaves you in place, so a wrong choice never erases progress or pretends to be a loss. The five routes add turns and return paths; difficulty comes from remembering where a corridor closes and reducing moves, not from fast reactions.
Local result and direct play
After all five routes, the game totals your moves and stores only your best result in this browser. Share uses the device menu or copies a sentence only after you choose it. Axis Lantern was made for Jogos de Plataforma with Canvas, vector artwork, and short locally synthesized sounds after the first move. It downloads no files, uses no external music, and never redirects to another domain.
